The Language Education Academic Group on the School of Education is nationally and internationally recognised for its range of instructing, research, data switch and consultancy work in TESOL, ELT, EFL, ESOL, EAL, Modern Foreign Languages, and Applied Linguistics. Over the final two budgets, we raised federal funding from $16 million to $44.7 million for the National Security Education Program, a language studies and cultural consciousness training program for future federal workers.
